Start with the work you can deliver
Define your platform, subject area, production style and audience. A creator who films practical kitchen demonstrations offers a different service from a lifestyle account selling distribution to a specific audience. Describe both the content you can make and where it will be published.
Choose a small set of relevant examples. Show a product explanation, a natural opening, clear audio and an appropriate call to action. Speculative portfolio work is useful when labeled as a sample, not as a paid brand partnership.
- One sentence describing your niche and audience.
- Links to your relevant TikTok, Instagram or YouTube channel.
- Three examples that match the content format you want to sell.
- A realistic availability window and a starting scope for a quote.
Where to look for brand collaborations
On LGI, start with Paid deals and filter by platform, niche and region. Read the full deal details before using an application. Public browsing is available before registration, but applying requires an account and the necessary eligibility checks.
| Channel | Best use | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Creator marketplace | Compare published deals and apply | Eligibility, fee and application limits |
| Direct outreach | Pitch a specific idea to a relevant brand | Official contact and decision-maker |
| Repeat partnerships | Offer follow-up content after successful delivery | New scope, licensing and payment terms |
| Agency opportunities | Join a roster for suitable campaigns | Representation terms and any commission |
Shortlist deals by fit and terms
Separate hard requirements from preferences. If a campaign requires a US audience or a specific platform, explain how your channel meets that condition. Do not assume an unknown location requirement means every country is eligible.
Check whether the quoted figure is a total campaign budget or an individual creator fee. Ask about deliverables, revisions, usage rights, exclusivity and the payment trigger. A high headline number may include work or licensing that changes the effective rate.
Send an application the brand can evaluate
Track your applications, responses and agreed next steps. Acceptance may depend on timing, brand budget and competing applicants. More applications are not automatically better applications; use your allowance where your work is a credible match.
- Open with the product and the audience problem your content can address.
- Describe one executable concept and the exact format.
- Link relevant work rather than a generic folder of everything.
- Provide a quote for a defined scope where the deal accepts proposals.
- State availability and ask one clear question about missing terms.
Build repeat work through clear delivery
Before production, document the agreed deal requirements and who approves it. Keep revisions within the agreed scope and retain records of delivery. After publication, share the reporting you agreed to provide and discuss a follow-up idea if there is a real fit.
US-facing sponsored content needs clear disclosure of material connections. A marketplace agreement does not replace that responsibility. Consult the FTC guidance below and the platform's current commercial-content requirements.
Common questions
Can I get brand deals without previous paid collaborations?
You can demonstrate production skill with clearly labeled sample work. Apply to deals whose eligibility requirements you meet; a brand still decides whether to accept.
Does joining LGI guarantee a deal?
No. LGI provides discovery and application workflows. Each brand reviews applications, and every campaign has its own requirements and available capacity.
